Currambena is an independent, democratic preschool and primary school on Sydney’s North Shore, offering genuinely child-centred, play-based learning through small, collaborative class structures. Established in 1969, it blends high academic standards with a flexible, holistic curriculum where students, parents, and staff share decision-making in a cooperative school community.
The Challenge
Currambena was running on an outdated, non-mobile-responsive website that lacked cohesion across its scattered platforms (WordPress blog and Joomla main site), making navigation difficult and disjointed. The task was to modernise the site – merging all content into a single, responsive WordPress platform with refreshed design, streamlined navigation, and enhanced functionality to better serve parents, students, and staff.
