Heather Porter (00:03.086)
Well, hello and welcome to episode 153. We have been doing this podcast for two years. Thank you so much, you guys, for listening, whether you've been with me from the very first episode two April's ago, or you've just happened to stumble upon me recently. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being here. And guess what? We have our newest guide that's out. It's just come out. It's the 2025 guide to stop...
the hustle. basically took the best advice from the experts we've interviewed over the last year and packaged them into really short, easy to consume guide. Basically you get each expert's top three tips around working smarter in your business, as well as their most important sort of piece of advice as well. So guys, you want to go and get this. It's so
Amazing simple easy to consume really, you know, like a quick little swipe file It is available now at hustle rebellion.com. So go check it out Now after two years of doing this, I've been getting feedback I've learned from my experts myself and I've really honed in on who I believe I can really genuinely help with this podcast So I've decided to change the show a little bit not
Hugely, but a little bit and I want to walk you through what these changes are that you can expect coming up in the next episodes now We're gonna be asking or should say I at this point will be asking new questions I want to look deeper into how different types of businesses are operating including the specific mistakes they make and their specific wins That's that real holistic
journey of growing a business, isn't it? So we are going to talk specific numbers, team and team roles, why something did not work specifically and what my guest might do differently next time when they try that same thing again. There will be more strategy than before because after all, if we're going to break that hustle culture, we need a bit of an action plan, right? So

The questions are going to be much more in a way that's going to help you put a plan in progress. Now, you're also going to get more strategy from me too. I do you guys so many training sessions. I speak all the time. I do coaching and consulting with businesses. And of course my business website, Love, puts together marketing campaigns to help businesses grow. So between all of that, I too want to share what's working.
both in my own marketing, my own business, but also in the clients that we help and where we've messed up because we're growing businesses too. So yes, there's going to be a slant on digital marketing because that's what I do. That's what my business does. And I'm not going to give you how tos. think there's a lot of really incredible digital marketing and marketing podcasts out there that teach you the how to. We're going to focus on strategy though.
strategy and why marketing because it's the backbone to growing a smart business. It gives you those sustainable leads. It allows you to pre-qualify people before they come to you. So that helps you to save time, right? And resources with your team. If you're getting the right leads at the right time, that's life changing for your business. really truly is. Also marketing helps more people to become aware of your brand.
and it even helps you to develop a brand if you don't even have a brand yet. All of this is part of that growing smarter, more strategic, more well thought through. And marketing really is about systems to help you grow in a way that does not, I guess, let you burn out, right? Because you only ultimately, you and your team get to work with who you want to rather than just saying yes to every project because you have a plan to use. So.
As far as the show goes, it will still be the same format where there will be a guest that I bring on. Like I said, we're going to dive a little deeper on that guest and then alternate with a solo episode, just like what we've been doing before. I will think of ways to shorten the episodes as well for you, because I know you're navigating through a tricky time in your life, in your business. And you're really trying to look at how to get more quality time back in your life. So that means you're probably most likely time.

poor if you're listening to this podcast. My outcome is going to be to leave you feeling absolutely inspired. You will know you're not alone with your challenges that you're facing in your business, even though your social media feed may suggest otherwise with, you know, all the beautiful curated feeds and beyond hearing the wins and the mistakes and the holistic nature of business from myself and my guests, you will
have one key takeaway from each and every episode. One key takeaway. So shorter episodes, key takeaways, really going into that vulnerable side of growing businesses. Still definitely applying within the anti-hustle culture because it is going to save you time to listen to our shows and give you better ideas and you will come out the other end with more strategy. So who will get the most from this show going ahead?
six, seven, or even eight figure businesses that are literally working hard, really hard. You feel like you're constantly doing more and more and more, and maybe you're even earning less as you grow. And you want more freedom from your business, like the freedom that you thought you'd get when you started it. But you feel trapped. You feel somehow like you're not able to ever get that. It seems almost further and further away the more and more you grow.
You're working on creating a business that is not entirely reliant on you as well. So all these things together, you're an established business. You want more freedom. You're working on a business that's not entirely reliant on you. So that's why these episodes are not how tos or tutorials, because you should not be learning how to do stuff, right? You should be understanding that you are here to learn how to delegate. You're here to learn how to get
tried and tested strategies that it's important to get the wisdom from others that come from before before you and have taken the steps before you and have made this the mistakes and somehow gotten through those mistakes. So you're here to listen to that. You're here to gleam evidence and ideas from that and then take that back to your team and your business and then they can learn the how to use and they can upskill but you're guiding them and leading them. I have a couple of really great episodes coming up. I've already done.

slightly starting to go into the new line of questioning. So you'll slowly start to see this transition roll out, but definitely the next two coming up are a little bit different than the episodes we've had before. And ultimately I'm excited to spend the next year ahead with you guys. Let's dive deep into these businesses together and let's know that we're not on this journey of always winning together.
It's a tricky time to navigate through business with everything that's going on and let's do this together, yeah? So thank you so much for being a part of this journey and yeah, I'll see you next time you guys. Speak soon, bye.
