What does the business do?
BDR sells their own product line to salon owners for wholesale and to consumers for retail.
What was the main problem?
They wanted a more modern design that did not just appeal to the wholesale market but to open up a new area where anyone could purchase their products online. The website needed to appeal to both segments and provide an easy to use interface for salon owners to apply to be a wholesaler and then log in to a private area to order products.

What we did to optimise their website for conversions:
2 clear user pathways
Incentivise consumers to spend more
We added Afterpay as a payment option and automatic gifts with purchase that are added to the cart during the checkout process.
Customised wholesale area
Their main focus is supporting their stockists, so upon logging into the site, a wholesaler can see different purchase items based on their role. There are multiple wholesale rolls the tem at BDR can use to assign to a salon. Then depending on the role, that business sees product prices specific to their role. The wholesale customers can also access premium products which regular retail customers cannot buy.
