Episode 146 Transcript

Heather Porter (00:04.379)

All right, Mario, welcome to the show. I'm really excited about our chat and where this is gonna end up. How are you?

Mario (00:10.272)

Nobe Heda, thank you for having me on your amazing podcast, Rebellion, Hustle Rebellion podcast. It's a two very, very powerful word, hustle and rebellion. So thank you for having me on your podcast. We appreciate it.

Heather Porter (00:14.811)

Hussa Rebellion.

Heather Porter (00:21.061)

Thank you, thank you for being here. Yeah, look, I came up with that name because I feel like I've just been working with small business owners SMEs for so long. the one thing we all have in common is that we just grind and work so hard and we actually forget that we have a choice. And that's essentially what this show is all about. Talking to amazing people like you, where you give some tips and advice on getting through those moments of stress.

Mario (00:47.222)

Yes, thank Thank you, Heather, once again for having me.

Heather Porter (00:50.049)

Of So, okay, let's, let's start with the first question. I love tangible takeaways straight off the bat. So what are a few tips that you can recommend for people listening to get through those moments of high stress and overwhelm better, you know, not work so hard and bring more balance back into their life.

Mario (01:11.778)

Well, thank you. Thank you, Heda. Look, I try to be the shortest possible, but, you know, we all have the same experience, but we always are facing equally everybody in life. have same hurdles. It is money, it's a relationship, it's a business, it's an emotional status, everything else. But I always say to myself now, I even say to my son, if I knew that my life is going to pan out like this, I'm never going to stress myself. I'm never going to, you know, one thing, wherever you do in your life,

Heather Porter (01:37.721)

Yeah.

Mario (01:41.58)

Do it, don't, without regrets. It doesn't matter what you do, just do above the board legally and go chase your dreams, regardless of whatever it is. Because one thing I learned on my part is that nobody, sorry, everybody's jealous what you have. But nobody's jealous on how you achieve this, what stress you go through, the hurdles and anything else. Nobody cares for this, everybody's jealous of what you have right now.

Heather Porter (02:05.466)

Hmm.

Interesting.

Tchoo.

Mario (02:10.734)

So whatever you guys just do, chase your dreams. Believe in yourself. Doesn't matter how hard it is, how many fears you face. Doesn't matter what's gonna happen. You're gonna have opportunity to stand up and continue. I know it's hard, it's difficult. I've been homeless and lost my family. I can give you the list and the Kramie River story, but the thing is, doesn't matter what you do in your life. Believe that tomorrow,

gonna bring the solutions, believe in your dreams and believe in yourself. That's the most important thing, in yourself because that's a key element for success.

Heather Porter (02:50.875)

It's a big belief is a big thing. And I like that you started with that because a lot of people will come up with tangible actual tips, like, you know, do this with your time management or whatever. Right. So I like that you really started with belief and also re-believing in your dreams. And I want to ask you another question on that because I feel like we all have these amazing dreams, right? Especially when we're in our teens and our twenties and, and then all of sudden life happens and

Mario (03:11.224)

Please.

Heather Porter (03:20.909)

What what do you do to rekindle your dreams again and realize what you want and what's a good starting point to go after them?

Mario (03:30.262)

I always say this, be careful what you wish for because the dreams come true. Head up, I don't know the mechanics. I don't know how to explain this. I wanted to become the soldier at age 14. I went to military school. I want to be in a war like a Rambo. War happened to me at age 18. Then, in January, 92, during the combat anyway, I saw the plane in the sky and...

Heather Porter (03:33.165)

Ooh.

Mario (03:57.312)

Some guys are watching in a bunker, the TV, and there was some commercial, the girls in bikini and Ibiza eating McDonald's. said, one day I'm gonna be on that plane on Ibiza, right? Seven years later, I was in Australia. So I wanted to become the spy, I became the spy. So the most important thing is it doesn't matter what you in life want to achieve. You are gonna have the more external inputs.

like your parents, your friends, your family, your wife, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whatever it is, they're gonna tell you what is good for you or not. But the inner child, we all have this kid inside ourselves. We all have to be playful and childish and everything else. And again, I said to myself, and I'm gonna repeat this again, I said to my son, who is 22 years old, I said, doesn't matter what you want in your life, life is gonna give you the tests to get to where you want it to be. So don't lose...

that that yourself, your ego, you know, to be your biggest enemy, because alter ego is your biggest enemy. If somebody asked me what's the biggest hurdle for me in not being successful or being angry or, you know, reaching my goals, it's nobody else. It's nobody there. It was me. My alter ego is my biggest enemy. So feed your ego positively and, you know, try to cherish that, you know, little kid inside yourself and, you know, pursue this, whatever it is. I say, again, above the board, legally.

Heather Porter (05:11.567)

Yeah.

Mario (05:23.682)

Because world is cruel and we are depending mostly on circumstances outside of our reach, like the news, the politics, the wars. But what I can control is my actions. So if you control your actions to be happy, to choose to be happy, to choose to work on your dreams, that's what I say, choose to be happy.

Heather Porter (05:46.487)

Mmm, I love it choice choice. What's true? I mean, do you know it's funny you make me think of

Mario (05:48.105)

Thank you. To us,

Heather Porter (05:54.585)

I love talking to guests because certain things light up in my memory, you know, and when you were saying that, it made me think of this one time, back in my twenties when I was working for Tony Robbins and I was sitting there in the stage or in the audience looking up at my new boss on stage. And I was like, wow, who is this guy? But he was saying like, your everything in life is your choice, everything. And it exploded my brain as my young 24 year old brain. it's like,

My choice, my responsibility. And thank you for saying that because I know even in the toughest moments, we forget, we can go very reactive, right, with what's being thrown our way.

Mario (06:31.933)

Yes, correct, yes. Look, it doesn't matter. I was an expert in blaming even you before I know you. I blamed the entire world for my problems. I blame people who have nothing to do with me. But then I realized a few years ago, during the COVID lockdown, I had these epiphany moments, mean, the stars in my backyard with a cup of coffee.

Heather Porter (06:39.716)

Yeah.

Mario (06:56.898)

I said to myself, actually I wasn't my biggest enemy because I didn't allow myself to believe in myself. I didn't allow myself to grow. I was just looking excuses, excuses, excuses. And you know, I can talk about how in military everything is great and everything is, it is not, know, military has a great thing to make a compartment of your life. You you love life, marriage, know, this and that, this and that. And there's a mission, there's a key objective. But when you are like you and I right now, we are product of our choices. Doesn't matter what we do, like.

Heather Porter (07:16.004)

Yeah.

Heather Porter (07:20.421)

Yeah.

Mario (07:26.102)

what we choose to do is going to result back to us.

Heather Porter (07:31.045)

beautifully said. I want to talk a little bit more about you. I want to get to know you. know my listeners want to get to know you, but you put something in your bio. have to start with. I know you've done it for this reason, but you're a Guinness World Records holder. What? What for?

Mario (07:32.376)

Thank you, Kherda. Thank

Thank you.

Yes, Okay.

Mario (07:46.478)

Look, I need to go a little bit back in history channel. So like in 2009, 2009, you know, I experienced my biggest downfall in my life. Happily married, you know, have the kid who is few years old and then come GFC and GFC actually crushed everything around me. My marriage, my dreams, you lost a job, know, like all this, you know, give me the tissues stories. And I mean, who cares? It's happened. But what happened to me, my son.

Heather Porter (07:51.525)

Please, fill me in.

Mario (08:17.507)

due to external influences, he developed epilepsy. And the doctor says like, it's, you nobody to blame in situations as it is, you know, and it's happened, right? And I mean, I was like, well, it's happened a lot now because it's put limitations for me, his mother and him and all these things. Eventually my son, he was being, has a big brain surgery and you know, he's...

We waited two years for results to come out and all these testings and everything else. He says, it's clear. And I said, my God. So I said to myself, I gonna do some things now, eventually what I wanted to do and that is to create a legacy that impossible it's possible. And I was working on community radio for the reason because I have a great mentor, Professor Smallman, who told me, it's not what you by nature, but by nature. And I was like.

Can you translate this to me in English? What does that mean? I mean, he's a professor. He says to me, Mario, you can do many things. So he told me you can do the university. I said, I can't because it's English. He says to me, I'll help you. So he guide me to process how to write essays. You should write a book. I said, but that's on English. He says to me, you can do it. So he took me on radio and I was doing radio, my gig, many black show. I mean, business insights.

I was cool as dude and then I said to myself, I'm gonna do this. And I enrolled against all record and I saw these guys had done 50 hours something. said, easy.

Well, one thing I knew at it doesn't matter how much I plan. I didn't plan on unforeseeable circumstances. So I have a lot of sabotage on my way. Many people didn't turn up to the interview because you need to talk 50 plus hours, just talk, you know, I mean, talk, you need to keep your heads up, you know, know, I can comfort myself. I was in the army. I was in the war. can do this. It's, it's, it's not that easy because you're sitting is like, and run away. You eventually run out to the topic. So 55 hours, 75 minutes.

Heather Porter (10:07.268)

Mm.

Heather Porter (10:17.253)

Hmm.

Mario (10:23.086)

I was like a zombie after these seven days, know, because I was chasing, I was a spider, I was on the ceilings, you know what mean? But I did it, and now I prepare myself for the second one. But I think it is, I truly believe that we are all here for the purpose on this planet, and I wanna leave this planet a better place, because Gainesville Record doesn't bring money, brings expenses, but what it brings satisfaction that I can show by my own example.

that it can be done. So instead of being theorist, know, hey, you can do it. And you say like, how? Yeah, yeah, you can do it. But now I can say it can be done because I did it. I want people to do more. So it's proving that impossible, it's possible.

Heather Porter (11:04.227)

Yeah.

Heather Porter (11:08.421)

So how did you get this record? This Guinness Book World Record? How did this happen? Yeah.

Mario (11:14.042)

Look, it was a struggle. It was a struggle. After 24 hours, I felt uncomfortable because my body has a mechanism to shut you down, to preserve the temperature, food and everything else. So I have the help of the few people who have really been there with me, keep my head above this. So the rules are very simple. The only rule it is you can be 30 seconds away of the mic. That's how.

Heather Porter (11:25.413)

So, yeah.

Okay.

Okay, yeah.

Heather Porter (11:41.679)

Got it. Okay.

Mario (11:43.918)

And they're very clever people in the Guinness, so they have everybody listening, so must be radio, right? So they need to be listen, and they need to see on the cameras as well. So was, process was, I didn't worry about this if I don't achieve, but I knew it I will achieve. I didn't know how I gonna achieve, because after 48 hours, the wall start collapsing, and so like the guests didn't arrive, people around me was just become edgy, they want, everybody wants to.

Heather Porter (11:49.753)

Okay.

Heather Porter (12:06.693)

Got it.

Mario (12:12.736)

And then when you pass that threshold of even one minute, you reach that Guinness World Record. The guy from Guinness World Record says to me, can you do another couple hours, it looks better. I was like, come on man, I just wanna go. So, look, I did it, and it was difficult, but it actually gave me desire to do another one, which I'm gonna do next year.

Heather Porter (12:26.607)

You'll know, no.

Mario (12:39.438)

Involves the space, speed and the free fall. I can say that one. So yeah, I'm gonna do another one because it's like I wanted people know that it can be done. So don't limit yourself in because the belief it's your biggest enemy. It's alter ego, sorry. So yeah, I did it.

Heather Porter (12:44.283)

goodness.

Heather Porter (12:56.251)

So, and back to mindset, mindset, right? Like you're saying your body starts to shut down and you have the people around you getting cranky and angry and so.

Mario (13:05.646)

Can you feel like everybody wants to like it's the finish and I'm so like yeah, it's not it's not yet there But you think I lost the weight. No, I didn't lost the weight I was thinking we lose this five kilos because somebody told me, you know Mario, you know one thing No, don't have it as very often. I'm competing in boxing as well. So I have a fight For the title in a match again for the senior citizens 40 plus. Yeah, that's true Yeah, when you come in studio head, they're gonna see it here. So I'll compete again soon. Yeah

Heather Porter (13:10.585)

You're like, no, we got this.

Heather Porter (13:28.843)

my god. What? I can't wait. Yeah. Yeah.

Mario (13:34.094)

So at what point it is, somebody told me, my coach told me, he know that chess players lose about 9,000 calories per chess game. I said like, I'm gonna lose like a 60,000 calories, that's like at least, you know, five kilos. I didn't lost the weight, that was a big disappointment. Yeah, yeah, look, I actually believe, yeah, everybody can do it.

Heather Porter (13:49.125)

You're like, come on, where's that that side benefit of doing this? So. OK, I want to know a little bit more. Let's let's start with what you're doing right now. So what is your business, your project, your mission right now? And then we'll take a step back and talk about how you got there. So right now, what are you up to?

Mario (14:06.786)

Well, you remember the last time somebody took advantage of you? Well, that's what I'm feeling. That's what I come in for. Never happen again. So my background, is me. I was in military for 14 years. So I was in combat five years. I was wounded a few times and I was a prospect and then I was being moved into military intelligence services. And then I...

was moved to the foreign intelligence, foreign affairs. So like my experience is all about investigations, interrogations, and enhancement interrogations, and information in essence. So in 2009 when I lost everything, I started my business in intelligence group with aim to become private investigator. And nobody wanna give me job because you don't qualify for some reason. said, okay. So I started my own gig.

And I based my business inside intelligence group around the three F's. Number one, it's a fear. People have the fear they're gonna lose the money, they're gonna be tricked, they're gonna be robbed, fraudsters gonna take advantage of them. Second one, it's a fight. So I take the fight to the climate. So we do investigations in claims, we do investigations in fraud, in criminal activities. So we investigate in this. And third one, it's a freedom, which basically we...

Heather Porter (15:17.115)

Hmm.

Heather Porter (15:27.397)

My goodness.

Mario (15:32.278)

I love clients to relax, they don't need to worry about investigations, we're gonna bring to them plus recommendations, so on. So my business growth from zero, number one. Membership number one, Mario Becker, one man band for five years. So I have now a couple hundred people working for that organization, it's an intelligence group, which subsequently growth into another offset company called.

cheating partners, which of course itself says infidelity. Yeah. So yeah, because people come in, you like, do you know, can you help me? Marcy? Yes, of course. Can help you? So I stick with what I know best. That's investigations. And my business is not about me. It's about people working for me because I salute every and each one because they make them company great. They make the company shine. So that is what I'm doing currently inside intelligence group.

Mario (16:28.722)

We're primary investigations and interrogation techniques. We are consulting on cyber security as well, cyber forensic investigations. We're doing lot of forensic investigations, I apologize. And we're doing a lot of social media intelligence, which basically we are utilizing social media as a tool of gathering intelligence or satisfying entire intelligence cycle.

Heather Porter (16:37.413)

Yep. Yep.

Heather Porter (16:55.707)

Wow, I have never spoken to anyone like you before with this background. This is fascinating. My goodness, and this, is this a global company or is this special, especially focused on Australians?

Mario (17:00.974)

I'm get on that kid.

Mario (17:08.43)

Well, is it? it, is it the major we are, we're covering Australia because, know, I believe that, if I, what I don't see it, you, you don't do it. I never engaged in nobody over horizon. If I don't see if I can reach in the 45 minutes by my car, by phone, by plane, you know, we don't do business. However, last couple years I've been invited to present on, different forms about industrial espionage, cyber, crime. So.

Heather Porter (17:13.295)

Yeah, yeah.

Mario (17:39.374)

It's a consultancy type overseas, but primarily we are in Australia. I will not say we are just global, but when people ask for advice, if they're global, we provide this advice and consulting, but hands-on work only Australia.

Heather Porter (17:54.821)

Okay, and you're an author of her book as well, is that correct? What's the book? Tell me more.

Mario (17:58.894)

That is correct, know, from the, well, I've done a couple books actually. I've done the first book in 2010 when I started my business, 2009 I started my business, 2010 was officially there. I was sharing the office with another few. It was so sad. Anyway, you know that virtual offices, commercials they look good, you come there's like five people in one room, like, hey, it's okay, I call myself business.

Heather Porter (18:24.505)

Yes.

Mario (18:27.042)

business person. So I started my first business, sorry, first book, chaos theory. So I growled into the several books about investigations where the professor Clive told me, you know, I help you edit book and say, Ooh, that's going to be good and sexy. So I done crime investigative, techniques, book with him and then simple exploded. could do it because I was finishing my,

my academics here in University Charles III. So I come to the point that I need to write something about my life. So I said to myself, I'm gonna write the books about my experience and one day when I pass away, you're gonna get money, money, money, money. And he's like, you know what I have in thought. So I wrote it. So I wrote it, The Blood Soaked Soil, which is the first part, second part, it was the true price of the freedom. So my experience to living in communism.

being abandoned by parents in war, going to war, broken heart, know, several times and all these things and being wounded and how I deal with the fees, how I deal with the obstacles. So, and now it's come the third book, which I still looking for the title but talks about my life working in diplomatic intelligence, something, 007. So, me and my publisher still working on that.

Heather Porter (19:50.875)

Okay.

Mario (19:51.042)

how to change the characters, the places, because it's still fresh. So yeah, writing books was becoming part of the legacy rather than just being, I wrote a book. Are you gonna get the copies? worry.

Heather Porter (20:02.533)

Very cool. Because, yeah, we'll put links to your stuff too and we'll tell you, tell everyone soon and how to get them. So I'm curious, because you've done investigation, you've come from war, you've been exposed to every type of person, probably quote unquote good and bad on the planet. And I'd like to know some of your thoughts on human nature, we as people. Do you feel that there is a good and a bad?

Mario (20:08.994)

Thank you.

Mario (20:32.938)

When I was young, I was believing I was invincible. That is one thing. And I don't say this lightly, but I believe that everybody was a bad person who was going against my president. So I believed he was only one person who says who is right, who is wrong. Then in the war, towards the end, I started questioning myself, what is the human destiny?

Heather Porter (20:53.914)

Yeah.

Mario (21:04.044)

I couldn't believe that human nature actually, our evolution, we can be carrying sons, fathers, husbands. turn into, so mostly this average joes was involved with me because alpha males always, the first one they run away, I don't know why, but the average joe stays in the wall. So they turn into something I couldn't even describe, but when I saw that our...

our evolution stopped, it's where the government steps in, it's enhancing you to become the terrible person. So I learned one thing, I start questioning everything. I'll say this, Heather, I truly believe that all people are good, and what is actually missing is education. Lack of education, it's causing the problems because we're limited. remember when I was a kid, my father told me,

Heather Porter (21:41.434)

Yeah.

Mario (22:02.424)

You're never gonna finish school. You're gonna be the garbage collector. know what mean? This and that, right? I okay. That was a shame for him, shameful for him. My son says to me the other day, you must be old because you're using pen and paper. I said, what does that mean? Yeah, exactly. I said to him, you can't hack the pen and paper because you need to think and you need to know and everything else. I believe, hey, that the people are good, generally good. When society start falling apart.

Heather Porter (22:16.378)

Ha.

Heather Porter (22:23.022)

Yeah.

Mario (22:30.892)

literally when bring or collapse, people come together. But till then, everybody tried to satisfy their own thirst for power, for some tangible things like money, the riches and goods and all these things. But in general speaking, I say like I saw the people coming together and that shows that people are good. But they need to be cherished, need to be educated. That world is not just a nasty place.

we all can live better lives. But that is up to, yeah.

Heather Porter (23:06.469)

What a fantastic answer. Thank you for sharing that. I had no idea where you were going to go with it because you've certainly seen very interesting sides of humanity. I believe that too, you know, I believe that overall we are, we all want the same things. We want to feel heard, loved, connected, part of a community. And it is how we're, I guess, what we're exposed to. And you even asked, you said something very quickly earlier around asking good questions.

Mario (23:08.878)

I'm gonna take your hitter.

Mario (23:29.315)

Yes.

Heather Porter (23:35.799)

or something around asking questions. How important do you think questioning what's out there or a better question for you would be how important is the quality of a question that we ask?

Mario (23:51.17)

I think that curiosity, know, there's this expression, curiosity killed the cats, right? But I, I believe that...

I'll say something now which obviously will not bring the many points to me, but I'm surrounded in a business, I was surrounded in business with the people who told me what I can't achieve. And when I ask why, they will tell me all these reasons why not. And I said to myself, why everybody predetermined with giving me why not? And then comes the revelations, like angel, hallelujah, like I was, but I can help you. And I said, what do mean? First you told me,

I can't succeed, but you can help me.

More questions you ask, more certainty you're gonna create for yourself. Because you don't, you need to prepare yourself. I truly believe that people are the biggest mistake when they're the goals, right? Fixed goals. By first of December, Heather and I are gonna have the podcast. It's gonna be great. And then Heather goes in Bora Bora for the holiday, right? know what mean? Disappointment. But if you put a timetable in front of you, and timetable is like,

Heather Porter (24:52.687)

Ha ha ha!

Mario (25:02.862)

I know I need to reach goal, this goal, and I need to know how I'm gonna reach that goal. So, you need to ask questions, how I'm gonna reach these goals. So the questions are always good to ask. It's nothing wrong to ask questions. I was believe that I was the smartest guy, because I know everything, Heda, and brought me so much problem in beginning my business, that I need to ask questions. Heda, can you help me with accounting? Michael, can you help me with the lights, whatever it is? So, questions are necessary.

And if somebody can answer to you, go somewhere else who's gonna be prepared to answer to you.

Heather Porter (25:37.124)

Ugh.

God that's good. I remember when I decided to move from California to Australia and everyone said to me, can't do it. You can't do that. That's impossible. It's impossible to get a visa as an American in Australia. It's impossible. It's impossible. It's possible. But my brain, instead of hearing it, went to how can I do this? Who do I need to talk to? So it was myself talking the questions that I came up with, which carried me through to the next step.

Mario (25:43.501)

Okay.

Mario (25:51.917)

Okay.

Heather Porter (26:07.665)

many people get stuck like you said in these little tiny questions that put you in a box and you just take what somebody says to you as the truth.

Mario (26:19.662)

You know, you're absolutely right. when I... Look, I know it's gonna sound very cliché-ing, but I do remember my darkest moments, I was walking in library, never been in library in my life. know, mean, buying the book or get the book or read the book, because I know everything. And I work with the library here, where I live close by, and suddenly books appear, it's the title, you can do it. Come on. It's like, it's it's not a...

Heather Porter (26:34.085)

Yeah.

Nike commercial. So I started reading that book and the guy talks about movie, Field of Dreams and you know, all these things. And I come home, I say like, God, this is a biggest BS I heard in my life, right? And then I said to myself, I didn't read the book to the end, but he explained his book that what he reached, how he started and I said to people, the only reason why we fail because we are listening others, not ourselves. You say this right now. We have the

Heather Porter (26:54.905)

Yeah.

Mario (27:18.356)

logic, we have the emotions, but what we need to listen to our intuition. And that is the biggest problem we don't do.

Heather Porter (27:27.679)

Mmm, so good. Okay. So one more question for you before we start to wrap up and that is around leadership because of your diverse background in the military as well as a very successful business owner. You have your own podcasts and your own books and everything. Let's talk leadership. What are some of your most important traits of a good leader?

Mario (27:29.272)

Thank you, thank you.

Mario (27:53.422)

Lead by example. That if you come with some theory to me and you you should do this, you should do that. Show me. That's what I to people, show me. You see, Heda Pora, she runs a podcast. She can talk to a podcast. So you're a leader in a podcasting because you know what's necessary to do to run the podcast. I think it's that word leadership has been abused, used, abused and...

raped, you know, so many times because there's so many people talk about leadership. And there's a 56,200 something books on Amazon, right? It's very moment of a leadership and everybody talks different story. In military, there's not such a thing. Tip. Sorry, there's no such a thing. You're the leader, you're accountable, responsible person on that rank. And that's your responsibility. Accountability. You must be accountable, responsible as a leader. If you're not the question.

Heather Porter (28:23.653)

Yeah. Yes.

Mario (28:50.924)

I was being told to ask everybody who wants to lead me, do I ask them, are you prepared to be accountable, responsible for my success or failures? If the answer is no, you don't fall in that category. So that's my takeaway.

Heather Porter (29:08.164)

Good. God, really, I love how your brain works, Mario. This is really interesting. It's very, it's really, it's really good. So, okay, we've mentioned your books earlier. Who, first of all, who should go out and buy your books? Who could benefit from connecting with you?

Mario (29:11.502)

Thank you, Adam. I really appreciate it.

Mario (29:26.382)

Look, the books can go on Amazon, just Google Mario Bekes. So, I mean, the first one, you know, on Amazon, which I've done with Professor Clive Smallman, it's about investigations, interrogations, and crime investigation techniques. So that's a complex book about, you know, how to do investigation, how to set up investigations. But Blood Soaker Soil and What Is the True Price of Freedom? It's again on Amazon. Everybody who believes, who needs a little push,

to believe themselves because I, in these books, deliberately talk about my nightmares in terms of I was cold, I was hungry, I was afraid, you know, being abandoned, you know, my girlfriend dumped me, she's going to be the rich guy, and I mean, I'm like, just told this story. But the thing is, in my books, I depicting what is human brain capable and body to enjoy in order to reach that ultimate goal. For me, it was

to survive the war, but so everybody who lean a little push to be inspired that it can be done. That's, that's I'll say this one.

Heather Porter (30:36.389)

So anyone could benefit from that second book for sure, absolutely. And anyone that's interested in investigation and crime and that whole side, guys, go check. I know there's a lot of true crime fans out there and just people fascinated by it. So you could check that out too. Where should people go to learn more about you or connect with you online?

Mario (30:37.802)

Anyone, anyone, anyone.

Mario (30:43.464)

Ha ha ha ha

Mario (30:49.731)

Yeah.

Mario (30:57.132)

Well, going to the Hassle Rebellion podcast because my host, Heda, she's going to put the contact details there. So guys, that's where you're going to

Heather Porter (31:05.701)

That's the right answer. you go. Too good. As we wrap up, are there any last words or advice or, just wisdom from your life so far that you would like to share with our listeners?

Mario (31:07.15)

yes! Thank you so much.

Mario (31:21.96)

I always say there's two most valuable commodities in life, time and health. Don't sacrifice time for

Look after your health because the healthier you are, you can chase your dreams, you can enjoy the life. Anything opposite that, it doesn't work. So guys, manage your time. You can't stop, you can't return, you can't rewind, you know that. So enjoy every moment you have because it's impossible to return, but look after your health because that's your most valuable commodity in life.

Heather Porter (31:54.127)
